It was a great Halloween for I Love Boosters. My favorite measurement of the film's cultural permeation. (Thread)

Honestly, for having done so, translating hentai is very invigorating because the community loves well-crafted, human translation. I've never seen people as combative and virulent (in a good way!) when hating genAI/LLM and MTL.
I love that even the gooners are fuckin done with this shit
this actually bothers me quite a lot, people are only concerned about AI when it hits what they work on only FOUR YEARS LATER we have software developers concerned with it because it has finally caught up to them in this way come on it was always a menace for EVERYONE ON ALL FIELDS
when artists said this in 2022 they were laughing at us, so 🤷♀️ (but realtalk, I'm glad more people are waking up to it now)
Hurm. Watchmen 40th anniversary variant cover for Green Lantern #41
Almost done reading Doll Parts: A Lovesick Tale by @luanavecchio.bsky.social ! This prequel might be even better than the first series! Disturbing, but more about how women are objectified from a very young age. Very curious how this will end.
I finished reading Lovesick by @luanavecchio.bsky.social . A sizzling hot and disturbing dive into the world of dark web gore and snuff videos, paraphilias, and cannibalism. Not for everyone, but the art is great, I liked it.

MAGICIAN A by Ishitsuyo Natsuko. Okay listen, this one is different and not for everyone ! It's mostly but not just F/F. No fantastical element but the art style reminds me of horror mangaka like Umezz or Inuki. Here, the real horror is high school girls having messed up and unwholesome thoughts.
VAMPIRE BLOOD DRIVE, by Mira Ong Chua (@miraongchua.com), a very sweet, hot and funny love story between a fem human and a butch vampire. Self published in English. Une nouvelle édition FR vient de sortir chez Bliss cette semaine !!
🎃💋SPOOPY YURITOBER!🧡🩸 I'll present my selection of scary hot disturbing cute erotic beguiling bewitching yuri manga for Halloween ! Tous disponibles en français / All available in English 🧵
I already devoured the sequel, Rite of Spring. Another excellent comic about a small town serial killer. Can't wait for the next series! Still gotta read the Halloween special.
Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees by Patrick Horvath and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou is as good as people say. A must-read if you like murder stories.
Another excellent volume of Nights by Wyatt Kennedy and Luigi Formisano! This series is quickly becoming one of my favorites. Red skin Gray is hella cool, and it's full of great ideas and references that speak to me as an elder millennial haha.
Reposting some Halloween reading recommendations. 🎃
I got the Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees Halloween special. Lots of cool names on this comic, I'm curious to see everyone's take.
After finishing the Beneath the Trees books, I read Free for All by Patrick Horvath. Cool sci-fi story where billionaires have to duke it out in gladiator style deathmatches.
