dear god, hearing the way some people have just completely integrating AI shit into their everyday lives is so sad and embarrassing and alienating. you motherfuckers have me on the verge of believing in the existence of the human soul. awful

it's kind of funny how early wikipedia was strongly dismissed as an unreliable source for research despite being pretty good if you could parse sources and citations and now we have a homunculus that actually fabricates incorrect unverifiable info and makes up sources and people take it seriously

Omg not Hank Green using AI for research and calling to his “bad habit” 💀😭🤡

the first thing I did when I started receiving money from ko-fi back then was to hire a designer to help with rebranding this check the full presentation deck here!

Human authorship can only be proven by human means. Humans labor, AI doesn’t. Writers think, pause, reflect, and resculpt; a block of AI-generated text doesn’t. AI verifiers aren’t the future. The human resistance will use human evidence.

it's already available but it's a paid feature because i'm using a paid translation API! once you're subscribed, just link your patreon account and it'll be available on every post patreon.com/deckblue

Hi @deck.blue I have no idea how difficult it would be, so it might be a no-go. But it would be nice to have a imbedded translate feature.

All generative text is a hallucination, some of it is correct and some of it is incorrect, and the computer has no idea which is which / there’s no invisible switch toggling between one or the other. Getting it right is as much an accident as getting it wrong
