I finally have time to go on a proper vacation for the first time in five years. I only have five-ish days. Cabo? Sedona? San Francisco / Bay Area? NYC? Somewhere else? I will be traveling solo and would love to have a couple touch points (whether people or events) to orient myself. Suggestions???

It's bc Taco Bell is REALLY GOOD at tracing product! Keeping track of exactly where they got their ingredients, & exactly what restaurants each shipment of ingredients went to!

I have emailed my vet, I know of a great cat behaviorist, but I am wondering if anyone has dealt with their cat constantly attacking their feet? Like dozens of times a day. Not biting, just nipping. Hudson started this about a week ago and it’s driving me crazy!

Poor air quality affects everyone, but some people are more sensitive to it than others, including people with heart or lung conditions, older adults, pregnant New Yorkers, and infants and children.
Eerily quiet in south Minneapolis for a Wednesday evening in the summer. AQI up to 168 (it was only 50 about two hours ago). Temp of 90°F, feels like 96°F. Smoke from the wildfires is visible outside

In 2019 I let our operations manager know that part of the reason I quit my job as humanities editor was because two senior male academics harassed me. I let my bosses know about the harassment with one academic at the time it happened in 2018. Both men continue to publish with the press in 2026.
