Getting rid of Squarespace and redesigning my website in Wordpress, adding in a little customized CSS to get rid of an annoying pop-up, updating DNS settings and making sure the SSL certificate is active, should I change careers for the third time???

This adorable asshole has increased his biting and scratching, including with my kiddo. Good thing I have pet insurance so I can see the equivalent of a pet psychiatrist (💸💸💸) for him to probably end up on the same meds I’ve been on

Whoops home at 11:30p instead of 6:30p because the new friend is from the same home town and you have to compare Taco Bells and high school musicals and wax poetic about psychoanalysis and Shakespeare

I finally have time to go on a proper vacation for the first time in five years. I only have five-ish days. Cabo? Sedona? San Francisco / Bay Area? NYC? Somewhere else? I will be traveling solo and would love to have a couple touch points (whether people or events) to orient myself. Suggestions???

The Twin Cities metro just broke their record for highest 1 hour AQI observation. An AQI of 535 was measured in Blaine. The previous record? 330. The air is dangerous up there tonight. Please be safe.

I have emailed my vet, I know of a great cat behaviorist, but I am wondering if anyone has dealt with their cat constantly attacking their feet? Like dozens of times a day. Not biting, just nipping. Hudson started this about a week ago and it’s driving me crazy!

Eerily quiet in south Minneapolis for a Wednesday evening in the summer. AQI up to 168 (it was only 50 about two hours ago). Temp of 90°F, feels like 96°F. Smoke from the wildfires is visible outside

In 2019 I let our operations manager know that part of the reason I quit my job as humanities editor was because two senior male academics harassed me. I let my bosses know about the harassment with one academic at the time it happened in 2018. Both men continue to publish with the press in 2026.
