I was a sophomore in high school during 9/11. I was outside of school with my friends before band practice, and I joked that every time I snapped my fingers, somebody died, then snapped my fingers as fast as I could. (I figured since there are billions of people, someone was always dying).

Star Trek is something I love across all of its iterations. Its hope is something that's needed as much today as it was 60 years ago. Here's hoping we can live up to its ideals. 🖖

I made a comment on some MAGA slop post that a local-ish magazine I thought posted from the wrong account. But considering their response at 11:37 pm, maybe it was a dumb hack instead?

Nonsense response to a joke comment on a miscast. You'd think a magazine could make a coherent sentence and spell "obviously."
