Social media was designed around the phone, but it really should be a dedicated big screen activity.

Maybe you think you are invulnerable to this (you are not), but the people who stay in Twitter because you are still sharing there are definitely being dragged to the right. I have so many mutuals who are still posting regularly there, and it's so disheartening to see. Please stop.

Evidence is already accruing that spending time on Twitter pulls ppl to the right, bc the algorithm feeds you horrible stuff. And again: academics are likely more vulnerable, bc they convince themselves they are less.

entering my 30's this year, and something i think i'll appreciate down the line is having had a 50+ y/old furry roomate in my early 20's. there's this TikTok-y idea that furry is a "young" community for teens, which couldn't be further from the truth. your silly hobby may make friends for life 🧡
