If you want a senator who's gonna lick some boots, go vote for Rogers. But if you want a senator who's going to stand up to Trump, you've got your option.

My monitor went out and it’s not easy to check all the connections and get it back up (a mess of cords, some probably obsolete). The good part is that I was mourning John Douglas’s passing with @trashcansinatras.bsky.social playing, and they will continue as i solve this.
I’ve been screening our documentary with organizing communities in the South. So far, the organizers mention data centers first at every single event. From racial justice orgs to old school activists who don’t usually think about tech policy. This has legs.

Genuinely crushed this morning to read about the death of John Douglas of the Trashcan Sinatras. His songs soundtracked my and countless others lives for decades, and he managed to do the impossible - make me proud to come from Irvine. Thoughts with his family and friends.
