Still processing our first Eurofurence! At the Artist Alley we brought J&J and experienced all the mutual goodwill bringing out the best in everyone — kindness, playfulness, patience, creativity, generosity… everyone contributed what they could. Truly unique. Incredible. And somehow very healing. 🖤

This is speaking my heart. Yes, AI is draining energy, optimism & industry jobs as an illustrator, which means money to pay rent. But it also is a reminder that we, us who love art for the sake of _doing_ art (instead of "outsourcing" it), still have work to do. Let's be hungry together. Penciltime!

One thing I really appreciate about furry is how such a wide variety of body types and shapes are celebrated. I have seen every part of me that I have ever been ashamed of represented lovingly by artists who Genuinely Like That Thing and that’s very powerful

I hope those load bearing followers know how much they mean to artists. Regulars, esp regular commenters that engage your work and story do not go without notice and are to be cherished. It's esp why I try to reply to let them know! (and why I wish I could keep track of any I've missed replying to )
