I know a lot of us have our own ways of doing roast potatoes, I do all the tricks and techniques and I’ve always been very happy with the outcome, but tonight I finally tried par boiling the potatoes in cold water rather than hot and yep, fine, works brilliantly, wish I’d tried this sooner.

Also, another thing on endometriosis research: it’s incredibly fucking important to study endometriosis in all genders, because not only has it oddly appeared in a few cis men, but trans men do seem to have higher rates of it. We also REALLY need to study how hormones affect it.
Every time I post about endometriosis and dare to make it, gender inclusive, I always get a lot of comments from people angry that I didn’t just say “women” And every time, I think about how Rowling has enough money to cure endometriosis forever. But she doesn’t actually give a fuck about women.

I don't really think your opinion on Harry Potter has any intrinsic moral valence, but c'mon, you should really not be giving Rowling money or attention if you care at all about trans rights, y'know? She's not an author with bad opinions, she's a full-time political activist who used to write books.
