Incredible. When Eβ€”n Mβ€”k & his crew obliterated USAID in a weekend, they deleted a vast trove of publicly-funded knowledge: the Development Experience Clearinghouse. A Canadian high school student (!) happened to have downloaded the entire thing for a project. AidData has now posted it for all.

David and Leigh Eddings. I loved their books as a teen and young adult! Then it came out that they were child abusers, and had their children taken away due to how bad it was, and I just can’t read those books anymore

Question for the Skyline: What was your HARDEST "cancel"?? Like the actor/singer/athlete that was the hardest to drop. I feel like it's always people I don't fw getting canceled so it's never really a loss. The hardest one was maybe TI because I actually liked multiple albums by him.

Saber PR responded to my post by saying that the story was written by people and no writers were replaced, buuuuut also that the game uses AI generated text and voices. C’mon man lmao

Despite the admission, there's currently no AI disclosure on the Rideshare "Stimulator" Steam page.

I didn’t even see this had been announced. I was lead writer on this one! And Saber replaced me with ChatGPT midway through development. All the passenger voices were AI too. Either they changed direction at some point or they’re not disclosing it on Steam

There was a mass disabling event in recent history that could cause long term health issues including but not limited to mobility, recent studies showed that nearly half of those diagnosed with Long Covid have suffered mobility and balance deterioration. I imagine some may need mobility aids.
