We had a few games of trench crusade this last week, including some of the new carcass front stuff. That Nineveh Novus scenario is fun, but the lunatic monks hit like a truck. Most fun part was using puppet master to pull my opponent out of melee with the monks, good laughs all around. Cheers!
When people say things like this they are advocating putting the lives of other people at risk. Blocking bike lanes makes it more likely someone will be killed or injured. All because drivers are entitled little babies.
There have always been fans like that, and that's fine. I like movies and genre fiction but I haven't cultivated a deep understanding of them. But seeing that become the dominant element at a big con was... disheartening
I love anime. I love anime fandom. I love conventions. I have for decades. But this gave me a glimpse of what Crunchyroll wants for anime: loud, shallow, focused on consuming what's popular now instead of developing a deeper appreciation.

My hot take on drivers encountering any vulnerable road user is that even if cyclists/ pedestrians etc aren’t following the law they still don’t deserve to be hit/injured/killed or honked at and actually should be yielded to in most situations. This is unpopular opinion in our society sadly.
