I’ve read a lot of bad NY Times articles in my life. This is possibly one of the worst. If it was possible to criminally charge a journalist for being monstrously bad at his job this is one of those times. Ernesto Londoño makes claims at the top of the article that are literally disputed within.

I-001 repeals existing laws that ensure parents are informed when their child needs them most and removes common-sense protections for victims of child abuse. Join State Rep. Monica Stonier and hundreds of other teachers, counselors, nurses, doctors, and more in voting NO on I-001by November 3rd.

White text on a dark red banner reads “Why I’m Voting No on I-001.” Underneath the banner, a photo of State Rep. Monica Stonier is on the left. She is smiling at the camera in a black shirt and black glasses. Her quote is on the right on a red background: “I-001 would make life harder for vulnerable kids. It also removes important parents’ rights protections.”

“There is blood on your hands. Not just Hunter Foster, but everyone that is complicit in the cover-up, including Attorney General Lynn Fitch, and everything that happens as a result,” activist Marquell Bridges said after Fitch declared the police shooting of Kohen Wiley "justified."

It’s also funny that right-wing deviants think that we’re scared of the Muslim Brotherhood, when our own government employs tens of thousands of secret police that roam the streets with impunity kidnapping our friends neighbors and coworkers

All to prohibit 10 kids (that's the number) from playing sports with their friends? Alas, no. It's so every kid has to have someone check their genitals before they play sports with their friends. Your daughter, grand-daughter, sister.

On my long list of things to feel heartsick about: there is a genital-check initiative on the ballot in WA this cycle, intended (as they all are) to make a marginalized minority's life even more difficult, and polling shows that it is likely to pass.

Notably Eileen Pollet is also a consultant for independent expenditures promoting Jamie Pedersen against Hannah Sabio-Howell. This behavior is so petty but also shows that all the money in the world can't buy you trust from progressive voters.

More explicitly a relative of Rep. Pollet, Eileen, who owns a consulting firm that a lot of Dems have used, bought leftycheatsheet dot com and is redirecting it to the FUSE guide as an attempt to confuse people trying to find leftycheatsheet.org
