I wanted to like Kamen Rider Zeztz more than I did. It lost me in the early episodes, got some momentum back by episode 12, and shifted wildly in my personal estimation in the arcs since. I liked it overall I think but I have a lot of issues with it that built up over time.

Also finished reading Brigands and Breadknives. While it took longer to grab me than the first two entries in the series I still liked it in the end. That being said, I think my interest in this particular series is tapped out.

Blasphemous II cleared at 75% completion, something like 26/33 cherubs, missing a few odds and ends. Save says 39 hours which doesn't seem right but whatever, not going to question it. Probably not going back for the few missing bits tbh, I've had my fun. #blutoid

Not once while I have been playing Blasphemous II have I known which parts are difficult and which I just suck at. I've almost shelved the game several times but I want to be more stubborn than it. Why? I dunno. #blutoid

By the by, long-term community member MG Gallows has a new book out, the 7th in a series. I enjoyed the first three a few years back and meant to read the rest but got distracted. Looking forward to re-reading and catching up. #blutoid

Started Blasphemous II over again, since I only had five hours. Farther in the game now than I ever was but getting tilted at a particular late-game boss is making me want to shelve it again for now. #blutoid

This kit doesn't match the best figure-rise kamen rider kit I've built (ultimate kuuga) but that's a high bar, it's still pretty nice. Lots of paired posed hands. Most of the stickers are just black lining in specific areas, some of which I avoided and used gundam markers. #plamo #blutoid

Realized 80% through Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion that I don't enjoy the game play enough to sit through the rest of the poor story, so I guess I'm 2/2 on starting and not finishing these and shouldn't buy any third one. #blutoid

Determined from a brief time with the beta I do not have the patience for Mortal Shell II, at least not right now. Shame, it looks like it does some interesting things. Still willing to try the full release at a later date. #blutoid

I wish you could toggle off games showing up in your upcoming releases calendar on steam that use generative AI and/or vibe coding but my cynical take is that'd just lead to even fewer disclosures. Bleh. #blutoid

Finished reading the second Apothecary Diaries light novel. I'm enjoying the series and likely to read all of them eventually (when they're all in English anyway) but nothing about them particularly compels me to rush that endeavor. Suppose that's no bad thing. #blutoid

Took some fiddling to get my fields of mistria save recognized on the linux side of the dual-boot after 1.0, but it works now. There are some lag spikes for some reason but I'm confident they'll be patched, there's already one hotfix. #blutoid

Fields of Mistria 1.0 today. Neat. Wonder how much that will derail my other gaming plans, between "a little" and "a lot". #blutoid

Finished reading Sentenced to Be a Hero Book 5. Still enjoying this series and glad it's still getting translated. Next up on the reading list, Apothecary Diaries book 2. After that, who knows.

I think despite preferring mecha over powersuits for the most part I like the format of Titanic Scion more than the first game (that I dropped) so far. More fluid gameplay and freedom to wander doing side objectives if I want makes it easier to overlook writing I (still) don't like.
