Yesterday, we visited Shosen Grande in Jimbocho to take some photos of the Galette display! Shosen carries back issues of Galette as well as Galette-related comics. We’re also very happy to announce that the English edition is now available there as well!

pen and Blankie have been doing unbelievable cover work for @galetteweb.bsky.social since day 1, but vol. 5 in particular stopped me in my tracks. It's so tender and expressive, a single moment that throttles your heart with anticipation. They really outdid themselves this time.

We just got a case of Galette Yuri Comic Magazine -Special English Edition- Vol 1 from Japan! @galetteweb.bsky.social is a Japanese quarterly creator/artist-owned yuri magazine that started in 2017 and now their official English editions are available in comic shops across the world---like ours!

When I think of Galette, the first word that comes to mind is love. A love that reaches beyond manga, beyond yuri. A heartfelt love for the mangaka who create these beautiful stories, and for the readers who cherish them across the world. I'm grateful to live in the same era as a project like this 💖
