I made more money from comics than ever last year, by a factor of, like, twenty. It still didn't even hit 50% of what I make annually at my dayjob. Which pays well but not INCREDIBLE. If I was trying to live off of comics alone, I would be unable to pay RENT let alone my other bills.

Even if you have a hit monthly book the money just isn't there. There are ways to diversify your income (royalties, commissions, conventions) but it's very difficult to be a success in this industry, let alone a success that can make a living off of comics. www.thebookseller.com/news/comics-...

"Children are too young to transition" Transition care (a) saves lives, (b) is proven safe (and is a hell of a lot safer than driving, and we let kids do that at 15 and 16), and (c) has a lower regret rate than literally any other medical procedure for which we have data.
