In today’s episode of ‘What the fuck are you talking about?’ My insurance company is trying to duck out of paying for my hospitalization because apparently having a drug resistant staph infection is not serious enough to warrant being admitted. Moreover, they have denied my second stint…for sepsis.

I am fresh outta the hospital and I’m supposed to be resting as much as I can, so I think this is gonna be a low output week. Health issues have had me on the back foot for months, but I am gonna get shit done. I wanna finish the set-up for the honor duel between Ket and Fallon. #queerwriters.

Got out Saturday, back in this afternoon. I’m doing my best to stay positive but I am scared as fuck.

Hopefully I am getting out of here today. I am gonna need some time to recover from the amount of insane antibiotics I had to take and re-establish some kind of equilibrium on my meds, which I have have been off since Tuesday. Not having to cook would be a godsend. Any help would be appreciated.

It is cool, and rainy too. Today is gonna be a good day.

The swelling is almost completely resolved. I have been crying for twenty minutes. I don’t think I had another day of this shit in me. I feel more tired than I have ever been, I’m physically weak, and my whole body aches, but I don’t feel like I am about to puke and faint for the first time in weeks

Thanks for doing this hun. You are a peach. Quick update: Things are looking up, and they hope to have me out of here by tomorrow night, but I am gonna be on bed rest for a while to recover from the toll the antibiotics are taking on me.

Finally in a hospital room!

Yeah, so I am pretty fucked up. I have had a soft tissue infection for three weeks that isn’t responding to oral antibiotics, so I am currently curled up on a gurney, getting pumped full of a gay bar stiff cocktail of IV antibiotics. Idk how long I’m here, but I could use some cash to cover food.

Back in the ER. Been in the lobby for 3 hours. Kinda wanna scream

Haven’t done one of these in a hot minute! It started rough as hell but it got way better. I set out to rest and recover, and ended up finishing a couple song rewrites and did some recording. I also finished a poem for my ladyfriends and did a recording of it for them. I’m calling it a good week.

Update, antibiotics are working a bit, and they gave me some ass kickin NSAIDs. I’m still not 100% but I got some music recorded, and spent some time with my girlfriends. Things are currently looking up.

So after half a decade of talking about how I don’t get why Warhammer minis are as expensive as they are, I finally painted one…I get it. The level of detail is insane. I feel like I did her some justice (if you ignore my difficulties painting faces.)
