Pro tip: you don’t have to comm artists to boost and support them. People claim they can’t support artists and creators because they are financially strapped, but they can still boost posts, comment, like, and in general just be supportive! It’s completely free outside of an internet connection ;)

OKAY SO! Turns out, it is a plugin that you can use. That's it. You can choose not to use it. fourthwall.com/blog/chatgpt... You have to actually go into ChatGPT and install said fourthwall plugin from there. So no, it's not Fourthwall deciding to suddenly have ChatGPT on their website.

Note: We never send your data to ChatGPT unless you install this plugin yourself, and we never use your data to train any AI model, period. Installing it only turns on the AI features already enabled in your Fourthwall dashboard, nothing else. And you can disable all AI on your shop at any time in your account settings, if you'd rather not use any of it.

Wow. I really thought Fourthwall was a good site. Support was really understanding when I wanted my link changed. And they gave me plenty of time to figure out my store, seeing how I left it dormant and never actually published it. I guess I’ll look into other places if I ever want to make merch.

If you're looking for somewhere to host your merch that is LOUDLY anti-AI I highly recommend ACGGoods PLUS if you're an artist, you can take merch comms directly on site + have the merch made + shipped to the client 👀

Why do I have to put in my email to opt-out? Why do I have to wait A WEEK for the opt-out to be put in effect??? It should be a SWITCH that you TURN OFF and therefore STAYS OFF AS OF THAT MOMENT

When a good and decent person leaves this world, I think the best thing we can do to honor them is to try to put even more goodness and decency into the world. It's not that we can replace them or their contribution. It's just that we need it all the more now that they're gone.
