Winning in Winnipeg has been the mountain the Lions could never climb the past several years, so naturally a beat up last place team is the one that finally goes in and gets it done. Good stuff!

Jeff Hoffman has had an absolutely bizarre year where he's had some massive blow-ups, but also since the start of June, has a 1.33 ERA with a 27/7 K/BB. I have no idea what to make of him, but I think someone will be happy to trade for him.

Behold, a steaming pile of self-serving dung from a recent Globe and Mail op-ed by two business leaders. Reality: the province is suffocating clean energy, no business has “stepped up” to build or fill the pipeline, and oil companies are minting massive profits for themselves, not the federation.

Yeah I dunno, I feel like this needs to be framed as "1 in 3 people still support a profoundly demented white nationalist authoritarian sex criminal who has illegally sent their people to war and nuked their own economy with his policies". That the number is still this high should be the shock.

I will confess that I did not believe he would get below 35%. I thought that was his floor. Color me intrigued.

The Blue Jays were one inning away from a World Series last year, and their 3 big offseason acquisitions are a Cy Young frontrunner, a 35+ HR everyday infielder and a setup man with a 1.51 ERA. So naturally, they're in last place by a full 3 games.
