I am excited to reveal that The Society of Unknowable Objects has been selected as one of the twelve long-listed titles for the Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing Prize! The shortlist for the Prize will be revealed on 28th May - but it’s an honour just to be included at this stage!

I’ve just finished reading an advance copy of The Salt Oracle by @rainewilson.bsky.social - this is dark academia done right! By turns haunting and horrifying, this tale is ultimately humane and hopeful. A book that deserves your attention.
