Time keeping is my passion.
You could for example do commercial law, like Jim O’Callaghan did, where you can charge approximately the same amount for an hour of your time that he’s now paying for an entire criminal case start to finish
1. The fees cited include 23% VAT (goes back to the exchequer) 2. Legal aid fees are paid into the law firm’s bank account and used to pay staff salaries, &often split with barristers in District Court 3. I oppose the new fees and I might have made a few hundred in criminal legal aid last year 🤷♀️

In ‘terrible but also funny’ news, the state of Florida is currently beefing with… An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha, aka the world’s largest and oldest governing body for Irish Dance because the NA championships are being held in Orlando and CLRG refuses to ban trans girls from competing as girls

Eight years ago, Ireland voted for choice, compassion and trusting women. Yet women are still being forced to travel for care. Contact your TDs and ask them to support the Reproductive Rights Bill this Wednesday. Give us the Repeal we voted for.
I am so sick of the criticism of the "designer" bicyle storage facility in Kerry Hospital. Lets have a look at these costs, understanding them is about reframing what was actually built, and comparing it fairly against the infrastructure society routinely accepts for cars. 1/

New mothers especially, are bombarded with shaming medical misinformation online that is packaged as wholistic & gentle in a way that is every bit as damaging and dangerous as the stuff peddled by right wing anti vaxxers. The more middle class you go, the worse it gets www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
