Another book I read too late to blurb, but can't stop thinking about is Tracy Lynne Oliver's Magician. Actual magic—the most singular & hair-raising voice, and a journey into some truly terrifying and also luminous spaces.

Very late to the party, as I've often been this year, but the stories in Sydney Rende's collection I Could Be Famous is hilarious, uncomfortable, & deeply rewarding. I kept reading bits out loud last night to my husband & if I were still teaching at Smith, a story by Rende would be essential.

Stocktaking day! 5 yrs ago, none of this existed - even after 8 titles, I stacked all boxes at home - under beds, along the walls, taking up a whole room at one point! Now it’s all in a warehouse - it’s not exactly glamorous but it is my very own publishing dream come true: 16 titles, 16 pallets!
Our kids love both these songs, so after I shared the quote post with @jinglesboiler.bsky.social, he made a mashup of "Washington" by @bradneely.bsky.social and "Get Him Back" as performed by Olivia: theinfringements.bandcamp.com/track/georgi... Hope you like it, @kellylink.bsky.social!

After reading about this in April I switched from Paxil (paroxetine) to fluvoxamine. I definitely sleep more. Simple stuff still knocks me down but maybe I recover faster? Would recommend trying for anyone with Long Covid, CFS, etc.
