Christopher Webb@cwebbonline.com · 5mo agoAfter years of delays and blocks by Speaker Johnson, the January 6 plaque honoring officers who defended the Capitol is finally installed. 4 a.m.. No ceremony. Just workers bolting it to the wall while DC slept. Apparently the only safe way to acknowledge J6 in Trump’s Washington is in the dark.
When Massachusetts passed a "millionaires tax" in 2023, conservatives claimed the rich would flee. But two years later, they haven't — and MA has collected $5.7B for infrastructure and public education. A reminder that positive change can still happen at the state level.
