the college sports bill push is so weird. Like they don’t have a bill yet because every version they produce makes a different set of stakeholders mad (they’re getting close, supposedly) but they’ve spent two years appearing on TV to tell us to support the bill
I don't want to hear a goddamn thing from any lawyer or agent that voted for trump about the PCSA. You cant act surprised that the governing coalition thats motivated more by racial animus and hatred of labor than free market economics....pushes a bill that favors that coalition. Jack Kemp is dead!
Kinda funny that almost all of sports TV is about DEBATE But a piece of federal legislation — something which is, almost definitionally, meant to be debated about — gets presented uncritically as Good

sometimes i get frustrated with football broadcast view for not showing us most of the field when a simple madden-style angle is not just possible but preferable. then you get a moment like this and remember that the chief virtue of broadcast angle is Comedy
