Amongst assorted other things I've been doing, I've been working on a new fursuit head comm I printed a 1/3rd scale version to test the fit and look of everything, because there's a lot of pieces. Everything seems good and I'm really excited to see how it all comes together when it's done for real!

The GenConado was uneventful on my end. I was sitting in the Hyatt eating a sandwich, attempting to strain my ears to hear announcements being whispered over the PA system. 20 minutes later, they whispered something else, and then it was over. It was a harrowing experience.

GenCon is going well! Magic Assholes has been a hit with the two groups I've run it for. Even had the chance to talk shop with a few people who were really interested. My wallet, however, is quietly weeping.

2 mystery decks
An infinity of ships
World wide Wrestling
Fluff and Fury
Dragon reactor
The Shard
A purple turtle
A roll of uncut playing cards
Mutant crawl classics adventure and core book
2 sets of diffusion dice and the DCC special 7
Infinite revolution
Sentai and sensibilities
Business wizards
Monstrous detectives

I will be attempting to finish as many MAIS things as possible before GenCon, but for now, you can take a look at the slightly updated sheet and these stupid pre-gens I made just in case someone shows up late or has trouble understanding how they're supposed to go about making a character.

Got all of my copies of @j-k.games 's Mutants in the Now/Next/Archives!! MitN is one of the coolest, most detailed RPGs I've ever read or played. Character creation alone is such an amazing engine for generating interesting and varied PCs that are both randomly generated and meticulously customized

Midwest got hit with some intense storms last week. My neighborhood was spared any tornadoes, but we still got hammered with unbelievable 100+ mph winds that ripped the top of a tree off and threw it at my car.

So I meant to make a post a couple days ago about how I'm running my own original RPG system (Magic Assholes in Space) at GenCon again and then I went and checked my events only to discover that they were already completely sold out yesterday, which is extremely flattering!

I've long believed that 5e has traumatizing effect on people and damaged so many players' perception of TTRPGs. No part of that lengthy learning process informs them that other systems *are* easier to learn, cheaper, and unburdened by 50+ years of sacred cows and "lifestyle brand" nonsense

In an effort to overwhelm myself with too many projects, I started up a monthly RPG club at my library. We had our first session a few weeks ago with Monster of the Week. It was a little messy because I had TEN people, but I've since had several of them reach out and say how much they enjoyed it.
