USPS’s job is to deliver the mail even if some mailed ballots genuinely are fake, illegal, fraudulent, or otherwise invalid. It’s on election administrators to catch and reject those, and they do. USPS has no role in it and the very idea mucks up the systems we actually have for election integrity.

Angle also has 20 rebounds with 7:27 left to play tonight. The only question that remains is will she get the single game record tonight.
A large city has a far more unique and non-homogenized culture than a rural one these days and it’s not particularly close. The city will have idiosyncratic shops, music scenes, different mixes of immigrant pops, etc. Every exurb is the same pickup truck mass-market country slop these days.
Asher Elbein@asherelbein.bsky.social · 2d agoThis is one of those things that is genuinely hard to overstate: rural life in America is, in many ways, as globalized and homogenized as urban life, if not considerably more so. And that's largely down to the construction of a pan-"rural" identity dominated by a basically suburban group
had to pack it in and just throw out the back half of the jimmy john's sandwich i got for lunch. abysmal. worse than quizno's in its late decline phase, which i never thought i would say. there's no lesson or takeaway from this other than to hold your loved ones close and pray for better days ahead
whatever happens this year, at least we'll always have the Beefy Boys list

i genuinely think that the way this admin is treating Canada will be looked back on as of the most shameful chapters of modern US history far too many people are laughing it off as unserious but the reality is that they’re spitting in the face of our closest ally for no reason
