So this past weekend I showed my girlfriend High Fidelity, a film I loved as a teen, and it turns out… it’s toxic as hell and supports its selfish misogynist lead in being the absolute fucking WORST. What made me miserable, knowing I thought his behaviour was fine or that the film thinks he’s fine?

My lukewarm take about the World Cup is that I’m a bit tired of hearing Americans belittling Europeans for hailing from a continent of terrible food. It’s smug and it’s incorrect.

Sometimes Bluesky feels like Twitter circa 2012— today my feed is full of discussions of Hellraiser, Spielberg, and StokerCon. It’s been nice to feel part of a compassionate community on here!

This year, the comments continue. It gets harder as I grow older. I find it more and more hurtful and I struggle to not let it bother me/scream expletives. Luckily, a lot of community members have commented on our social posts and it’s warmed my heart 💕🌈💖
