Working on an Atmospheric Jungle track between classes with a choppy Amen Break and a tempo of 179 bpm. Today I added some sections where I dropped the Amen out and switched from an 808 to a bass guitar sample, before then dropping the pads out while throwing the Amen back in.
Fire alarms/general emergency alarms currently going on in the building that houses a lot of bio labs on the top floor. Building is not on fire as far as I can tell.
Turned in my quantum mechanics homework last week feeling pretty good about it. ~2 hours after that I was reading the textbook and realized I’d probably fucked the whole thing up. Today I get it back and found I got a 90% lol

Spent about an hour just wondering around the business school and the arts building (the later is where this photo was taken). I’ve never really been inside either of them, despite having now spent a bit over 5 years at this uni.

Now killing time by wondering around the other, newer engineering building. Just walked past a guy waiting for an elevator along with a hand truck loaded with 2 compressed gas cylinders. A sign on the truck clearly states not to ride in the elevator with compressed gas lol
Currently sitting at a table in the engineering building trying to figure out what SPLEEM is, while every few minutes a couple of workers keep walking into a nearby closet and exiting with yet another comically large red barrel (like the kind that would definitely explode if shot in a video game)

Got a new laptop for school that’s significantly more portable than the giant ass gaming laptop that’s been my only computer for the past decade. I also immediately installed renoise on it so I can work on music in the 4 hours between my two classes lol
