You can/should read Emily Wilson's latest take on the Odyssey, but I'm logging on to convey my hairdresser's reaction. She was AGHAST that Nolan, with his million $ budget, gave Matt Damon ONLY 6 hair extensions. As a result, his hair did not blow around properly, & that ruined the film for her.
Any number of gay people hanging out together leads to one of them saying this eventually.

Halfway into the Aubrey-Maturin series and I am increasingly confident that literally everything in these books is about either Boats or Gender, and the stuff that is about boats is mostly actually about gender, too.

The thing about Chicago is that cool shit is happening in the coolest places in the world right here every day every week and you can just show up. You can even make friends. Easily. Chicago is the greatest city in the world
