Today marks the 90th anniversary of the Spanish Civil War. A total of 549 Scots volunteered to fight in Spain. Proportionally more Scots volunteered than from any other country. We still have a lot of work to do in Scotland to tackle fascism, racism, and all forms of discrimination.

There are 24 hyperscale data centre applications in Scotland. If they're all built they'll consume over 1.5 times the peak energy demand of the entire country. We urgently need a pause to develop a national approach that works for people and planet, not just tech billionaires.

I was delighted to see the Equality Network coordinate this important letter to the First Minister demanding action on a Scottish ban of conversion practices. In May, I lodged a motion calling for the ban. Together, as the public, politicians and campaigners, we will ban conversion practices.

Yes, the inclusion of Gaelic and Scots in their proposal exposes their incompetence. But the real issue here is that racists are trying to criminalise any minority languages in election campaigning. Oh, that and the secret bungs and the fraudster funding, let's not stop talking about that.
