thinking again about the nuclear take... I feel insane saying it. even starting with gen 2 putting legendaries on the box - pokemon really did lose the sort of emergent narrative that made it such a unique and cultural game.

ok yeah dark souls 2 is dope. it's like a mix of dark souls 1 and 3. some sort of weird middle ground. like it sits right in between.
finally giving dark souls 2 a fair shake. been a while since I've gotten to play a fromsoft game blind. evil decision to make the button that slides you down ladders in ds1 completely dismount you from it in 2 though....
Damn it's Pseudoregalia's 3rd birthday today! I have a lot I could say about this game. Working on it, the reception, the metric ton of fan art, and the games/demos that have come out inspired by the game. The most important thing is that I'm really grateful to everyone, this game changed my life!

Aidan@girambquamb.com · 2w agomy current pointless pet project is transferring all my game logs from notion to obsidian. this is only from 2021 to the start of 2024 so far... obsidian tickles my brain with the opportunity to link pages together and show a cool web of connections anything to not actually play video games.......
