Most people would be shocked at how low the median production budget for an animated TV show is and would be even more shocked at the amount and kinds of shows companies are passing on because they still think it's too high.
We are still feeling the effects of these 3 movies bombing in the early 2000's. Every single "adults/teens won't watch animated movies" or "No one wants to watch a 2D animated movie in theaters" etc. can be traced back to these 3 movies bombing. I'm being a bit hyperbolic, but also not.

If we had a few laws about what digital "ownership" actually meant, I bet that would solve quite a few of the problems people have with the physical vs. digital stuff. That might require a congress where the average birth year isn't "before the invention of chocolate chip cookies" though.

We DID actually have to tone down how many butts there were, so we were sent a list of which exact butts to take out and which we could keep. This shot originally had a giant butt for Red, but we were told it was too much, so we made it into the tiniest butt possible, which allowed us to keep it.
