Tragically, Jason Arday has died after a vicious press campaign over the last few weeks. The Government must urgently launch an inquiry into the rotten culture of the press, and any role it had in his death: hackedoff.org/campaign-actions/demand-an-inquiry-into-the-culture-of-the-press

Every picture tells a story... Back in 2018, I spotted this 1879 oil on canvas of the 'White House' and Maryhill Locks, signed A M Law, going up for sale at Great Western Auctions. The painting, a wee bit dirty and careworn, was estimated at £40-£60.
🖼️ New exhibition alert! Every picture tells a story, but you have to look closely to find it. That's exactly what we did with one painting from 1879, and it turned out to hold far more than we expected. The exhibition opens this Thursday and has been put together with @ScottishCanals.

Hey Andy Burnham! A new Prime Minister means a chance to choose a different path. For too long, refugees have been used as political scapegoats while hostile rhetoric has divided communities & harmful policies have made it harder for people seeking safety to rebuild their lives.

Amnesty International put out a major report documenting the influence of UK based anti trans gender critical organizations and their funding. Within hours, GC groups threatened defamation lawsuits and Amnesty was forced to pull it down. Proving the point they're anti rights. Anyways, here it is.
