Based on MLB Pipeline rankings, the Dodgers gave up only their 5th, 7th, and 17th best prospects for Skubal. Plus, they'll pay him roughly $11 million. Other teams were gutless, that's all it is.
I hope he fights this so his lawyers can make his recordings public. Also, I would love some jury duty.

City Hall promised once-in-a-generation reform, but when it came time to act, they punted every significant reform. Los Angeles has studied reform long enough. The political establishment has made it clear that they it will not reform itself. We need change now.

Street homelessness in LA rose 8%. This problem isn't unsolvable. It's mismanaged. Another approach is possible, and the results in my council district prove it. Street homelessness is down 49% in CD4, and I will bring the same approach citywide as your next mayor.

Instead of letting one of Metro's most successful programs wither, we should be expanding it. With the Olympics approaching, we should be showcasing Los Angeles—not scaling back one of the things that makes our city special.
