I watched From Russia with Love yesterday. I liked it better than Dr. No. It was ok. This one had more of the familiar Bond tropes/cliches. So maybe that's why I felt less chilly towards it? It felt familiar. Overall, James Bond, at least the Connery Bond feels like straight camp to me.
Was going to get a ticket to see Oh Mary! When it plays here in October but then I saw the ticket prices...I'm fine paying that for the ballet but it seems really steep for a one act, ~80 min. play.

There's only one thing it needs, Robert Englund. Leatherface, Michael Meyers, Jason they can all be recast but Englund brought so much personality and character to that role that you'll never be able to reboot/redo Freddy and have it work without him. Ya can't do it.

I started reading Valley of the Dolls and...it's really good so far! I saw the movie years ago and barely remember it but the book is well written and engaging and funny at times. I was expecting...idk something more lurid and pulpy. Maybe it does get there once the titular "dolls" are introduced.

I didn't realize episode 7 was the series finale for The Vampire Lestat. We had best get Queen of The Damned for S4 because that was a massive cliffhanger of a way to wrap up the season.

idk about this...I probably shouldn't judge a movie based on one image but this seems like it's going to take itself too seriously. Also I just have a soft spot for the schlocky, campy, 80's movie. It's just fun. Fucked up but fun.

Evidently peanut butter lattes are a thing and...they're pretty good! I got mine iced which was not the way to go because the pb wasn't as well incorporated as it would have been if it had been hot, still good though, but going with a warm one next time.
Pre-ordered Final Fantasy Resonance last night. Haven't bought a FF game since X. Looking forward to this one. However, I still haven't finished FF Tactics and I bought Octopath 0 a few months ago and haven't even opened it yet. But here I am, buyin' more games. 😅 Might pick up Star Fox as well.

This looks promising. Granted it's been a few years since I've read The Shards but there were a number of scenes in the trailer that I remember from the book and/or that do a good job of capturing Bret's sensibilities.
