Love when a parcel delivery “failed” for some reason and now the shipper, the intermediary, and the local carrier all refuse to articulate what exactly went wrong and just say it’s the other company’s fault. Now I just have to… I guess HOPE it doesn’t happen again? Awesome.

I was so thrilled to be asked by Molly to read Bradbury’s “There Will Come Soft Rains” for the story’s advent. What does luxury and convenience and complacency leave behind? What is a manicured corner worth in a mutilated world? Can I make “will” the important word in the sentence?

Actually while I have the Germans replying to my DBahn post, what are these little huts/shacks in all the farm fields? Are they for… birdwatching? Poaching security? For fun?? They’re everywhere and seemingly nothing more than an elevated seat.

The German train system (DBahn) is hilarious because you’ll get an email like: “Hello customer, There has been a change to your planned schedule. It’s fucked. You can’t do it now. It’s not possible. We won’t say why. Figure your shit out yourself. Sincerely, Deutsche Bahn” ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
