Today marks one year since Claire died. Claire was kind, driven, and fiercely committed to making things better, not just for herself, but for others. Her story is the reason this campaign exists. Claire’s story brought people together and continues to drive change across Wales.

I'm really pleased with the way this photo turned out. If you look very, very carefully it's a coyote in the distance crossing the frozen lake separating #Toronto #Canada 🇨🇦 from its islands. Maxed out the 📷 zoom and very little blur even though we were traveling on a busy, moving ferry.

A wide-angle, atmospheric landscape photo of the frozen lake between Toronto and it's islands, under a heavy, grey fog. In the distance, a dark treeline and a tall, thin industrial tower are shrouded in mist. A small, dark silhouette of a lone animal - a coyote - is seen walking across the vast, white expanse of ice in the middle ground. The overall mood is cold, desolate, and quiet.

We walked down to the harbourfront #Toronto, #Canada 🇨🇦. The ice in this stretch of water was like nothing I'd seen before. Looked impressive, but you wouldn't want to try and walk on it. The week we were there (mid-February 2026) the area was experiencing "warmer" temperatures.

World Cancer Day is a reminder that outcomes don’t just depend on treatment, they depend on timing. In Wales, delays in gynaecological cancer care remain severe. In November, only 32% of patients started treatment within the 62-day target, with wide variation between Health Boards.
