"[Panel] Registration deadline is June 20th" "[We] will notify all panelists if their panel has been accepted by July 15th" Today: "The official [redacted] schedule is HERE!" Look, I know I'm a nobody offering to present on very niche topics, but it would still be nice to not be ghosted.

After seeing my sixth summer movie today, I decided to put on my statistician hat and test my personal rankings against Rotten Tomatoes. My Spearing rank correlation with critics is -0.02, or almost perfectly uncorrelated, and with audiences is 0.37, or weakly in-agreement. Fascinating. 🤓

What classic game am I replaying today? Here's a hint: Start, Right, A, Start... Start, Left, A, Start... Start, Right, A, Start... Start, Left, A, Start... Start, Right, A, Start... Start, Left, A, Start... Start, Right, A, Start... Start, Left, A, Start...

You never know what you're going to find at Roseville's Retro Gaming Expo, like this weird fake trackpad controller for the NES! We had to take it for a spin with The Halls of Talamh Domhain, and it works surprisingly well. Come by the indie developer booths and give it a shot! 😆

We're gearing up for a big weekend in Roseville at Fire & Ice Retro Gaming Expo: * A new exhibition build of The Halls of Talamh Domhain showing off all monsters, NPCs, vendors, & the entire soundtrack! * A new technical talk, Intro to N64 Reverse Engineering & Randomizers! Hope to see you there!

I've always loved alien movies. I have such a low bar for them. Disclosure Day was abysmal. Absolute garbage with nothing to say or do. It didn't have a single interesting thought or concept or original idea in the entire affair. I honestly think Disclosure Day is the product of Generative AI.

I too am ready to direct a season of a D+ Star Wars show if Disney gives it a chance. I plan for new episodes to reveal the origins of Kybo Ren (not a typo) and explore the history of Terak.

Aeronautical engineers of the world, I have a very serious question: why is it not possible to put a 1/16" sheet of metal between my lower back and the seat back pocket of the person behind me?
