I visited an old 19th century cemetery today and walked around looking at the graves. At least a third of them were for children under 10. My first thought was thank goodness for modern medicine and vaccines. My second thought was a big fuck you all the anti-vax cunts in this world.
Naarm/Melbourne has again showed up in force to protest Israeli atrocity in Gaza and the West Bank, grotesque Australian government and corporate complicity, and the silence and indifference of the husks posing as human among us. From the river to the sea.
But Australians must accept that real anti-Semitism DOES exist and it threatens the safety of our fellow Australians who are Jewish. And that most of us take an attack on something we identify strongly with as a personal attack. Neither is possible without the other.
There is a disconnect between Australians and the media and government when it comes to anti-Semitism. Media and government MUST accept that criticism of Israel's actions in Palestinian that include brutalism, genocide and illegal occupation is not anti-Semitic.
