I think “I am the protagonist of life” is the main psychological appeal of this kind of conspiracism. You risked nothing, you did nothing, and other real people are suffering the things you’re pretending to think are bad, but in the end you’re the great hero for surviving your imagination.

Why accept a lower wholesale price on the PBS when half a million people are paying full price? Time to bring on generics.
