The missing context is that Hudson is a little old fashioned and thinks that people with mundane beastforms or don't retain a fully human form are....lame? Riley and Hudson disagree on politics (hard when your dad is president) so perhaps she thinks of ways to get on his nerves....

A mostly limited palette scene originally drawn by Griff of an injured human Hudson sitting and leaning against a tall stone with runes on it. Some thumbs I made to set up interactions with Jacky on #hetherev. They're not in sequential order, or related. They're just 'what ifs' I was using to break the ice. I'm eating up the composition practice but also it takes my WHOLE BRAIN.
