One of Godzilla's greatest strengths as a monster is that it kinda represents anything you want. It's a swiss army kaiju, from nuclear metaphor to environmental backlash to empathetic pro wrestler monster father.

I know this is not the biggest concern going these days, but it stresses me out that basically every artist/writer/critic is now expected to create their own tiny empire instead of getting paid by any existing entity to perform a job they've worked to get good at!!!!

so if tarot could stop telling me “the chances of anyone wanting you/you ever getting laid again are super low, go back to the bench and think about what you did” that would be great actually.
