i am genuinely bewildered by people who say that the rise of white nationalism in the republican party is a response to the "woke left." like, did the woke left cause pat buchanan's 1992 presidential campaign? is the woke left why steve king had a long career in congress?
I've said it many times, but I'm related to a lot of 90s Republicans who begrudgingly voted for a Clinton in 2016 and registered as independents on Jan 7 2021, and are generally not engaged with politics. They are as pissed, if not more pissed than me.

When we talked about the various copyright lawsuits in my music business class, I always argued that Ed Sheeran was an easy target because his music is bland and popular. (I recently made a similar argument about Stella Lefty)

I want to be clear about what I'm saying, since the original post is breaking containment a bit. A lot of people don't understand that np arts management is an actual professional field. Arts orgs are not simply run by corporate types on their lunch hour. Real, qualified leadership is critical.
