"I really don’t understand why somebody would want to make me say things that I don’t want to say as they please and then sell it as my own voice. It’s heartbreaking. Why can’t Japan, which calls itself a content superpower, establish rules for content use or tell the world,..."

The voice of Shinji in Evangelion says AI voice cloning is 'heartbreaking,' calls for Japanese government to intervene

It would be nice if somebody did something, for once.

Cloudflare forcing me to look at the clod butthole every time I open their janky website. Also, which is it? Are we "onboard[ing] [our] agent" or "get[ting] to work"? These are mutually exclusive things.

The UI of a cursed website called Cloudflare. There is a text field that says "Onboard your agent to Cloudflare" with 4 icons, one of which is the Anthropic logo.

Below that, it says in larger text "Let's get to work."

Hell of a lineup on this album - Tatsuro Yamashita, Kenji Omura, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Haruomi Hosono (!!) damn what highly influential Japanese musician didn't play on this

A record is playing: Sunshower by Taeko Ohnuki

Well, it finally happened! After 9 years of Unity dominance, Godot was the most used game engine for GMTK Game Jam 2026 submissions. 🤖 Godot - 47% 🎮 Unity - 34% 🛠️GameMaker - 5% 🚀 Unreal Engine - 3% ✨ Other - 11%

Pie chart showing game engines used to create 10,511 GMTK Game Jam games in 2026. Godot has the largest slice with 47%. Then Unity with 34%. Other with 11%. Game Maker with 5%. And Unreal Engine with 3%.

Software architecture is of course very important but in my experience, those who specialize in it tend to trivialize implementation. And if the implementation is trivial, just let the AI do it who cares.
