i still desire to seek Christ but i also desire to break away from the way the church told me i must practice faith. i want to seek Christ in a more metaphysical and unconventional way. one might even say a "heretical" way by evangelical standards.

I'm just gonna say it and I don't care if lose any friends & followers: Some Progressive (Christian) spaces are just as unfriendly and unsafe towards sex workers, porn stars and other sexually liberated people as the the hard-right conservatives spaces.

I’ll admit it: I keep to myself a lot because I don’t have much self-confidence in making the 1st moves to establish new relationships. I only just find myself in the silent company of people I share interests with.

It just occurred to me how much I’ve been keeping to myself lately in the world. I just stay silent and barely even speak to people because idle talk didn’t serve a purpose for me unless it was important. It’s the side effect of being naturally shy, selective and reserved.

I'm only going to say this one time: I have absolutely zero tolerance for or sympathy with blanket anti-religion sentiments, especially those that assume religious people are somehow lacking in reasoning because they believe in God. You're telling on yourself. Institutions, practices? Another story.

Some people talk about being “healed” vs. “unhealed” as some sort of badge of honor for brownie points.
