Today at HQ, we had special guests from Microsoft leadership. We refuse to let executives forget what game studios are actually made of: their workers. As welcome gift, we placed hundreds of flags outside, honoring all of the game workers who have been laid off by Microsoft in 2026 (so far).
This was a very hard decision even if it was very cheap (with 3 months warranty and refurbished by pro's) I've never bought a computer using a loan (and have a dental debt to pay off) but I haven't even been able to work on freelance website creation in months! The stress has been getting to me 😔

Sketchy Tulip@sketchytulip.bsky.social · 10h agoThe cheap laptop I ordered arrived 😭❤️ Had to buy with credit loan 😬 (but I mean had to crowdfund for a cheap chair! 💸) the minimum monthly payment is quite low so I'll manage 👍 I am confident I can fix the gaming computer eventually 🤞 but it's been a money and time sink and I NEED a working one!

i occasionally see the sentiment that if you aren't attempting to improve at art you're a piece of shit who shouldn't be drawing at all. i think art is one of the only hobbies where people act this way. imagine if skiiers said this to ppl having fun and falling over on the bunny slopes
