A reminder on remembering where the actual problems stem from. And even before advertisers, there are lobbying groups and "child protection" legislation that encourages advertisers and payment processors to do this. Save your energy, Stick together

I feel this sometimes, too. It's burnout from so much scary shit happening, a traumatized reaction. You're scared, freezing up in self-defense. But remembering it's not all bad is important. Despair and defeat are easy. Hope and collective action is work. Rest up, we have this, together.

Some days I get up and after a while, my heart goes ‘Everything is bad!’ And my brain goes ‘Is it though? What’s bad right now?’ And logically, nothing is currently actually bad. But my heart feels feels hurt, for some reason 🤷🏻‍♀️

A large moth found its way into my room and I wasn't able to shoo it out the window before it landed somewhere I can't find it and at any point tonight it might fly into me while try to sleep. So RIP to me, it was a good ride.
