If you like Touhou you should play it, if you like Super Robot Wars (ESPECIALLY if you have only played the western releases) you should play it, if you like tactics games you should play it, if you like RPGs you should play it. FMW rules.
I have been playing Super Robot Wars on release for twenty years and have played very close to every single game they ever released so I need you to understand that I am saying with authority that Fantasy Maiden Wars is one of the best SRW ever made and by a not-insignificant margin.

Aaah, nice to see Fantasy Maiden Wars has finally snuck past 500 user reviews. And 98% of them positive. Great game Utterly COLOSSAL Super Robot Wars-styled strategy-RPG (80+ hours even before a NG+ loop that adds even more story), and a great intro to Touhou with no prior knowledge needed.
