Remember what the dormouse said.

UK inflation rate has fallen. Here's why the BBC will not be reporting on it for very long. 1 BBC is not politically impartial anymore. 2 active Tory party agent shaping BBC news output. 3 BBC board appointed by Boris Johnson. 4 Conservatives headquarters still influencing BBC.๐Ÿค”

Richard Burgon MP A new poll shows 89% of Labour members support a Wealth Tax. Other polls show a massive 78% of the public back a 2% wealth tax on assets worth more than ยฃ10 Million. The Government should listen, drop the cuts to disability benefits and bring in a Wealth Tax instead

Celebrating that our โ€œfriendโ€ is treating us slightly less shit than they are our other friends is pathetic and frankly the opposite of the strong and independent Britain we were promised after Brexit. Vibes of loser at school who stands behind the bully glad itโ€™s not them in the cross hairs.

Europe (+uk), need a combined tech strategy. We cannot properly fight the USA while out lives are so entangled in USA tech. Replacing gmail, iPhones, Amazon, Netflix with home grown products is currently impossible. We need EU tech

Britain is poverty-stricken. Many in full employment rely on food banks. Our waterways are poisoned. We are the sixth largest economy in the world. Where has all the money gone? #PecksniffsDiary reports the Muckrakers' answer. Art by @coldwarsteve.bsky.social with thanks

Do it for the workers of Britain! Reinvest the tax receipts into paying off the U.K. debt mountain to reduce the Governmentโ€™s interest payments and have more money to spend on priorities. Increase the lower tax threshold. Reverse Brexit.

Calls for a #WealthTax are growing - and government's excuses are looking more and more feeble. This week's rally showed the energy of this movement and the breadth of support (78% of the public!) for this common sense policy. Now we keep the pressure up!
