Ok, some thoughts, as an olde tyme academic, on the Arday tragedy. First, allegations about causes. We don't know what was in his mind, but many people are keen to blame him, or woke lefties/academia, or the media. Some people are absolutely certain that the media are faultless. 1/

An amazing result for Bangladesh. They played brilliant Test cricket. A team that got castles by the CAXI a week ago, winning by 9 wickets in Australia. So few teams do that. It'll be fascinating to see what Australia do from here (probably make very few changes and win by an innings).
