If Badenoch becomes PM, she’ll last less time than Starmer.

This particularly incident will be forgotten but those failings will do for her in the end.

Badenoch's two biggest flaws are that she's nowhere near as smart as she thinks she is and is incapable of admitting error. Both well illustrated by this fiasco.

This place’s medium term survival (at this point) depends on X going badly wrong along the lines of the various incidents in the period just post EM’s takeover — note that *all* the big waves here (with the possible exception of the open to all wave) have occurred due to X related issues.

Also…and very importantly…people are absolutely kidding themselves of they think this platform will survive in its current form…it needs more people and that means a more heterogenous mix (which progressives should be in favor of).

No one has any superior rights here! And that’s a very good thing! It’s deliberately set up to be an idea of egalitarianism.

There’s this weird notion that social media platforms like Bluesky somehow belong to a particular faction / group of people by reason of longevity (say) or ideology. This is not true!

The London report was a few years back but little is likely to have changed. It’s how the Russian intelligence services (and Chinese) operate.
