This episode hit me in the nostalgic feels. I remember when playing sandlot games I would call out “I’m Walt Weiss!” as other players called out the names of more popular players. I can’t remember why I had such an affinity for him, but this episode validates my 8 yr old player choices. 😂

Weiss was 1988 AL ROY, won a ring in 1989, and an All Star in 1998. He managed the Rockies and was Atlanta bench coach before taking over this year.
